Children’s appointments

Our ophthalmologists must check the eyes and vision of all 3-year-olds in order to detect any vision problems

Ophthalmologists welcome children of all ages who are presenting with eye or vision complaints. Our ophthalmologists must check the eyes and vision of all 3-year-olds in order to detect any vision problems or eye disorders and prescribe treatment. Farsightedness in children starting school (ages 6-7) is tested by the family physician, who then draws up a medical certificate for the school. You don’t have to visit an ophthalmologist for this!
