I graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tartu in 1988. In 1989 I passed my internship in the eye department of the University of Tartu Clinic and in the eye department of Ida-Viru Central Hospital.
In 1989, I started working in the eye department of Ida-Viru Central Hospital, and in 2018 I started working in Silmalaser.
I have acquired professional knowledge from the Eye Clinic of Tallinn Central Hospital, the Eye Clinic of the University of Helsinki and the Fyodorov Eye Clinic in Moscow. I passed the ophthalmic surgery exam in 1995 at the Sebastopol Ophthalmic Surgery Center, California, USA. under the hands of Dr. T. Suslov. And since then I have been mainly focused in cataract surgery (monofocal and multifocal lenses), glaucoma surgery, blepharoplasty, laser treatment and small plastic surgery.
I have participated in many international seminars in America, China, England, France, Italy. I am a member of the European Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
I dedicate my free time to my big family.
